Four Pillars of Destiny – Introducing the 600 life path

The Spirit Valley Man system classifies a person’s Chinese Astrology chart according to the element of the Year Stem and the Hour Pillar. As there are 10 Year Stems and 60 Hour Pillars, this yields 600 Life Paths.

Previously only available in Chinese, each of the 600 Life Paths has a Chinese proverb of four characters associated with it. This book not only provides the English translation of these proverbs and the related meaning, it also illustrates each of the 600 Life Paths with two modern-day examples of famous individuals.

With the 1200 examples in this book, you will be able to identify and correlate your own time of birth and your Life Path.

Four Pillars of Destiny –

Introducing the 600 life path

The downtime from the pandemic allowed me to review and digitalize my database of famous individuals, with more than half including the Hour Pillar. In 2019, I had started looking at the Spirit Valley Man method, which looks at the Year Stem and Hour Stem of a person’s chart.

Introducing the 600 Life Paths is the subset of the Spirit Valley Man method, where the Year Stem is then paired with each of the 60 Pillars. This gives a total of 600 different Life Paths. In the original Chinese version just one line of information is provided.

I felt that these 600 Life Paths would help individuals uncertain about their hour of birth to look at the two or three potential hours paired with the Year Stem and decide which one was most suited to their lives. I have had the pleasure of a Polish reader telling me that this book helped her with ascertaining her Hour of Birth, thereby giving her the confidence to write out her full Bazi chart.

I wanted to make this book relevant to today’s readers by incorporating at least two examples for each Life Path, giving a total of 1200 charts. It was a challenge for me to find all these examples during my time in Noosa, but I somehow managed to. My editor Miranda van Gaalen wanted me to make it 50:50 with regard to male and female celebrities. I ended up with a 57:43 ratio. Hope the female readers are able to overlook that.
